Villages in Troodos Mountains

The first stop will lead us to the traditional and picturesque Cypriot village called Omodos, where you can visit the monastery of the Holy Cross Timios Stavros. "Arkatena" bread from Omodos is known all over Cyprus, and the women from the village know embroidery well, creating delicate decorative items with thread for centuries. These are both tablecloths and quilts, as well as napkins and laces. The next stop will lead us to Troodos Square - a popular cobbled square offering stalls. You can buy many souvenirs, traditional sweets of all kinds, rose products, dried fruits (without addition of sugar), drinks, clothing, footwear and everything you need!
Free time for shopping and coffee with an amazing view. The next stop is the popular village of Kakopetria - the beautiful central Kakopetria square with high plane trees and cafes, where you can try traditional homemade sweets in the area, and in winter you can sit by the fireplace. We will visit the famous water mill, which was built in the 18th century, as well as a walk behind the Clarios River with the most beautiful nature in Cyprus.
Free time for coffee or lunch (optional). Returning to Limassol, you will stay in the village of Lania - a small place in the hills of the Limassol wine region. In addition to wine production, the locals also produce olive oil. Lania was holding an olive press next to the church with large traditional round stones. Recently, oil production has been mechanized using an internal combustion engine.
