Around the island in one day

The trip begins with a tour of Asklepion. This is the island's biggest attraction. The remains of the ancient temple of the god Asklepios' worship served as a medical centre in Roman times. Later we will go to the village of Zia, where you will have the chance to stroll among the narrow charming Greek streets along which there are shops full of souvenirs and local products. In the evening, natives and tourists come here to watch the sunset and admire views from the spectacular terrace. Then we will go to Antimachia. There is an open-air museum from the XIX century with windmills. The next place worth seeing is the factory where olive oil is produced. You have the occasion to find out how olives change to olive oil. After visiting the factory, there will be time for traditional Greek wineries and wine tasting. The route of our trip leads through Kefalos, Mastichari or Kardamena as well. Free time is provided for you in all places visited.

Aquapark Lido

Sun, water and wonderful fun. Lido is one of the biggest water parks in Greece. It presents a real attraction for small and adult travelers who want to go crazy. Nisiros

We set out from the hotel to Kardamena. Then we travel by boat (45 minutes) to the island of Nissyros. After arriving, you change to a bus, which takes you to the very top of the crater. Wandering on it you will feel the specific sulfur fumes. In the afternoon you have free time to walk around the town of Mandraki or see the Pangia Monastery. The architecture is also impressive - narrow streets, two-storey white houses and charming squares. It is worth stopping at a local tavern and give in to the atmosphere of the island at least for a moment.

Bordum-Turkey
